A fun mountain town to escape the heat

After a few days on the beach, you may wish to find a place to cool off in the refreshing jungle. Meet Minca. You can take a taxi directly, or the more adventurous route of public bus to moto taxi. Either way, you’ll be happy you did.

Once you’ve made it to Minca you can start hiking, this swimming hole Pozo Azul is probably the closest attraction to make it to. Otherwise, you can hire other moto taxis or 4X4s to take you around to other locations like a coffee plantation/cerveceria, other waterfalls, and a hostel with a giant hammock and a nice view.
